Job Description

 Master’s or higher degree in Sociology, Development Studies, Anthropology or related field from a reputable HEC recognized university.

Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in social baseline and assessments and/or social development, in public sector, private sector and/or donor funded projects is required.

Job Responsibilities
  • Implement the Environment and Social Commitment Plan (ESCP).
  • Monitor compliance with Social Management Plans prepared under Social Safeguard Standards
  • Incorporate social development dimensions in the preparation and implementation of this Program
  • Assist in the preparation and implementation of site selection criteria, beneficiary screening criteria, and beneficiary feedback surveys. Ensure E&S screening is part of the site selection criteria
  • Prepare and implement the E&S Screening Checklist for all TA component activities, including checklist to screen for presence of informal settlers/occupants and prevention of involuntary resettlement. Oversee preparation and ensure implementation of Environmental and Social Compliance Framework (ESCF)
  • Strengthen institutional capacities of HUD and PHATA in stakeholder engagement and environment and social
  • Prepare Quarterly progress reports on E&S aspects of the
  • Conduct diagnostic of existing GRM systems, develop recommendations to strengthen the existing GRM systems, and ensure effective and functional GRM for Program duration
  • Oversee and execute tasks related to all social safeguard relevant components
