Master’s or higher degree in Sociology, Development Studies, Anthropology or related field from a reputable HEC recognized university.
Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in social baseline and assessments and/or social development, in public sector, private sector and/or donor funded projects is required.
Job Responsibilities
Implement the Environment and Social Commitment Plan (ESCP).
Monitor compliance with Social Management Plans prepared under Social Safeguard Standards
Incorporate social development dimensions in the preparation and implementation of this Program
Assist in the preparation and implementation of site selection criteria, beneficiary screening criteria, and beneficiary feedback surveys. Ensure E&S screening is part of the site selection criteria
Prepare and implement the E&S Screening Checklist for all TA component activities, including checklist to screen for presence of informal settlers/occupants and prevention of involuntary resettlement. Oversee preparation and ensure implementation of Environmental and Social Compliance Framework (ESCF)
Strengthen institutional capacities of HUD and PHATA in stakeholder engagement and environment and social
Prepare Quarterly progress reports on E&S aspects of the
Conduct diagnostic of existing GRM systems, develop recommendations to strengthen the existing GRM systems, and ensure effective and functional GRM for Program duration
Oversee and execute tasks related to all social safeguard relevant components
